Wheelchair access with platforms can be found at Countess Wear Lime Kilns and our new Harpers Lakes.
Go down the Exeter By-Pass (A379) over the River Exe Bridge, before you go over the swing bridge turn left, with parking by the boathouse.
You will see the first wheelchair point to the left as you look at the canal.
As you are still looking at the first fishing bay, look to the left and you will see a short path that leads to the second platform, both are for wheelchair users.
Continue down the by-pass for a ¼ mile to the Matford roundabout, turn left on the Dawlish road (A379), after 600 yards you will see an oil refinery on your left, adjacent to this you will see a small lane, travel up this lane for a mile and you come to the Lime Kilns car park only yards from the bank.
As you go past the gate onto the bike path, look to the left and right of the display board and you will see two bays for wheelchair users. Access is not flat to the bike path but its only a few feet up from the car park.
Go to Double Locks on the canal and park in the first carpark. Cross the canal and turn right up the towpath. Access is about 50M on the left.
