Some great news for all those who campaigned with us to save the parking at Clapperbrook Lane East. Exeter City Council have agreed to extend the maximum period of parking to 24 hours on a temporary basis whilst they look into the matter further. They have also asked for the EDAA committee's input so maybe a solution can be found in the longer term. Anyone who wrote directly may not receive a reply so please see their response here.
The association has now gained Clubmark Status and we are joining an elite group of angling clubs that have qualified to receive this prestigious award. The club has adopted the Angling Trusts Equity and Child Protection Policies and created a Development Plan to encourage more juniors to become competent anglers.
A big thanks to the Committee, Officers and Trustees for all their hard work on this matter.
The lane to Lime Kilns has a gate fitted fromTuesday 4th October and will be locked. The club has been given permission for vehicle access for the members that wish to fish, this permission will be reviewed if it is abused. The council have said that only club members can have an access key.
