Sampford Peverell Ponds Nr – Cullompton
Two rods maximum on ponds
The fishery consist of two three quarter acre ponds either side of the main Exeter – London railway line, the first 10 foot deep pond being adjacent to the access road to Tiverton Parkway Station.
The fish stocks are good with all species in situ, i.e. roach, perch, bream, tench to 2lb with crucian, mirror and common carp to 10lb.
The second pond is slightly smaller in size with an even 4/5’depth throughout, fish stock consists of carp between 4lb to 10lb with a few bream, tench and rudd. The gate combination lock see page two. Toilets in Railway Station.
First pond is suitable for wheelchairs second pond is not
Directions: From Exeter on the northbound carriageway of the M5 for approximately 20 miles, exit at junction 27, left onto the A361- North Devon Link Road. After 500 metres go left to Sampford Peverell, at the top of the slip road go left. After 200 metres, turn left signed Parkway Station, at the end of road the pond will be on the left with parking adjacent. To reach the second pond go up the small footpath that runs from the car park, up to the dual carriageway, turn right across the railway bridge and down the steep embankment the other side, steps provided.

- no night fishing restriction,
- fishing from prepared swims only – see below.
- Boilies only allowed from 1 st April to 30th September.
- Maximum 2 rods.
Important: Anglers wanting to night fish Sampford Peverell must first obtain an annual night permit, available to annual members only, send to the Hon. Sec a photocopy of your E&DAA permit, passport photo, £5 and a sae to 4 Diamond Road, Exeter EX2 8DN – allow 10 days for delivery.
